ROCKINGHAM —This summer, Meredith Marks will join outstanding elementary school students from across the state to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience, the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM, taking place in Winston-Salem.
NYLF Pathways to STEM is one of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.
Meredith was nominated to attend the forum by her fourth-grade teacher at Marlboro Academy, Marlowe Harrington. In addition to her superior work in the classroom, Meredith keeps a rigorous schedule out of the classroom as well with basketball, dance, soccer, and volleyball. Meredith aspires to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an emphasis in the medical field. Meredith is extremely excited to participate in the medicine and crime scene investigation pathways of the forum.
